Our guide, Eric, told great stories, knew the history cold, and when re-routed down a single lane village road drove with amazing skill. We had a wonderful sunny day exploring the ruins of St. Andrews Cathedral, visiting St. Andrews golf course and watching huge baskets of lobsters being pulled in by fishermen in Anstruther. Terrific tour!
The tour was good - Andrew T was our tour guide- he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the kingdom of Fife and St. Andrews. I didn't have a enough time to do both St. Andrews cathedral and golf course - I thought they were closer together or at least within walking distance- the town though is very nice and lots of places to eat- I think I could have spent the whole day at st Andrew instead of making short stops at other towns
Lovely area, and interesting history. The guide Mark, was very knowledgeable and funny and provided lots of information and other hints on tours and travel. Must see is the ruins of the St. Andrew Cathedral and Castle and the joint ticket was extra but worth the 9 Pounds. St Andrews is a nice little town to wander and good food and shopping can be done. If you have time stop in for a wee nip of whiskey!
Excellent tour guide Marty, beautiful places, plenty of time to enjoy it all.
This was an amazing tour! Marty was awesome, and I very much enjoyed his jokes. He was a great guide with a lot of local knowledge. He kept us entertained without being intrusive. I would absolutely recommend this tour!
St. Andrews is a cute little town with lots of shops and restaurants. We drove through the famous golf course and saw the university too.
