About this activity
Itinerary

The tour begins from the hotels of El Calafate at 7 am (beginning of pick up). Heading towards the legendary Route 40 and making a stop halfway at La Leona, typical and antique hotel & coffee place. The ride continues longing the Lake Viedma, having the Andes in the background with beautiful panoramic views of the Viedma Glacier and Mounts Fitz Roy & Torre. After a 3 hours ride arrival to the mountain village of El Chalten. Short stop at our operations base. Later, transfer to El Pilar located 17 kms/10,5 miles north-west Chalten village, road that goes though the Valley of Rio de las Vueltas.
Amazing 6 hours trek starting from El Pilar. This is a ONE WAY trek of 16 km/10 miles that will satisfy the most demanding hikers. The path starts longing the Blanco River located at El Pilar passing next to the Piedras Blancas Glacier, Poincenot Camp, Mounts Poincenot, Fitz Roy and Saint Exupery and Capri Lagoon ending at the village of Chalten.
At the beginning of the hike travelers will have a snack, as lunch will be served at Camp Baguales around 3 pm.
At the end of the journey around 5 pm travelers will return to El Calafate anrriving at heir hotels at 8 pm.
