We have done a lot of day trips across several countries. This one was absolutely perfect. It had all the elements of a balanced day trip. Right duration, excellent guides, breathtaking views, appropriate amount of activity and perfect size group. We were 3 couples and that made it so personal and intimate. They picked us up right on time. Ruben was an awesome guide. He is worldly, knowledgeable and takes care of everything. You can see he is passionate and enjoys that he does. He did a great job talking about the birds and the animals in the area on the ride up to La Leona. We had never kayaked before but felt totally confident and safe after spending only a few minutes with Ruben. Geraldo was the other guide in the water and Eduardo was the driver. They were great too but had supporting roles. Kayaking was a ton of fun and then hiking on the private property was so amazing. Touching dinosaur fossils from millions of years ago and being the only ones on the hike made it extra special. After a long day, we felt energized instead of feeling tired. Two thumbs up! Five stars! Excellent overall day trip. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

We had two wonderful guides for our small group of seven. All the gear - including dry suits which are necessary was included, and plenty of instruction was provided. The river is tame - I would think anyone could handle it. If you're looking for a lot of white water and rapids, this may not be the tour for you. However, the scenery is stunning every second feels like you're looking at a postcard, so if you like kayaking at all, or are interested in trying, I would absolutely recommend. You also take a hike into the badlands which is very unique topography and provides amazing panoramic 360 degree views. Had a great time and would wholeheartedly recommend.
