Travel 2.5 hours from Essaouira to Marrakech. Cradled by the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, the 'Red City' as it is know due to the rich ochre (earthy) color of its buildings was once an important hub for camel caravans. Journey back in time to see the Saadian tombs, one of the major attractions in Marrakesh,
Visit the Bahia Palace and gardens, built at the end of the 19th century. Enter the complex to view the stunning paintings, mosaics, carved cedar wood, and enjoy the sweet-scented Moorish-style pleasure gardens.
Explore Medina, the old part of Marrakesh, with its labyrinthine alleyways and courtyards. Enjoy the lively marketplace full of stalls selling carpets and other handicrafts.
Then plunging into Jema El Fna, the main square of Marrakech. Spend free time at this world-famous square that features fortune tellers, snake charmers, magicians, story tellers, healers, and musicians that perform into the night.
You will return from Marrakech to Essaouira at around 4:30 pm and will be dropped off back at your hotel.
