About this activity

The trip starts in the historical harbour of Portimão, towards South-East Coast. We follow the Arade River, passing the fishing villages of Ferragudo and two medieval forts entering the Atlantico Ocean. We pass the lighthouse of Ferragudo, the beach of Caneiros, the Roman Tower and the smugglers cave, Benagil and Carvoeiro and its beautiful Rock formations of Algar Seco, Vale Centianes, Marinha and Armação de Pêra.

Along the trip you will visit the most beautiful caves such as Benagil and Alfanzina in a traditional cave boat, and explore the fascinating caves. On the boat you will find comfortable seats on the shaded mid-deck, top deck and aft salon. At the beginning of the trip it is given all the information about safety on board. There is a bar available with drinks and snacks, souvenirs and toilets.

Boarding 30 minutes before departure at Cais Vasco da Gama (near Clube Naval) at Portimão harbour.
