On this tour we will share with you the rich history and secrets of the Arade River, Relax with music aboard and, if you wish, take a refreshing Swim.
The Arade River area is very rich in history, nature and culture and joining us on a tour is a discover through a forgotten Algarve that will wonder you. For centuries, the Arade was the scenery of important merchant trades and was sailed by many cultures: Phoenicians, Romans, Vikings, Moors, among others. Ships came to carry minerals, oranges, cork, wood, figs, almonds, carobs, fish, salt, among other riches of the region.

On this 1:30h boat tour, we will sail the area between the bridges of Portimão, Ferragudo, the Castle and Fortress, the bar and return to the Marina. A refreshing drink (wine, water or juice) and a snack (dry fruits) are included. The boarding is made at Marina de Portimão. The pier location varies according to the season (Pier A during the low season and Marina Boarding Pier on the high season). After your booking we will send you a file with instructions to get to the boarding point. The boat trip times vary each day (between 10am and 5pm). We'll send you the time details after your booking. Please arrive 10 minutes before your departure time.
