About this activity
Itinerary
After meeting your instructor you will be handed a wetsuit to change into in our changing facilities, here you can leave all your possessions and valuables safely in our lockers until you return.
Once suited we take the short walk through to the beach where you will be handed a suitable surfboard from a variety of shapes, sizes and construction.
We then head to an area on the beach where we can take you through a brief introductory lesson talk on the sand. This is where we will go through the basics such as the parts of the board, how to ride the waves both lying down and standing up as well as the safety checks.
From here you will be assisted into the shallows by your coach who will then proceed to guide you through all that you have just learnt and practiced on the sand with ongoing further explanations and relevant coaching to your experience. Your continued feedback and support will be catered to your individual progression with safety paramount.
After your lesson it's back to the school for a hot shower and debrief chat with plenty of hot and cold refreshments on sale in the shop.
