Fairbanks, Alaska's second city has a long history as a location in the Tanana Valley, the heart of Athabascan Indian territory, and as the location of "America's Yukon" gold rush. Today, she is a leader in Arctic and Aurora research. Come explore her past and her present in this fascinating tour of Fairbanks' Museum of the North have lunch at a local Asian Buffet. Depending on opening hours at the Santa House, we may also make a stop there for photos and souvenir shopping. (The Santa Clause house is ONLY open on the weekend in the winter and the hours of operation are reduced.)
