Stop At: Caribe Bliss Ocean Tours & Boat Rental, Dock #8102 Puerto del Rey Marina, Fajardo 00738 Puerto Rico
You can make your way to the marina on your own or choose to be picked up at any major hotel in the San Juan area (optional) to arrive in a timely manner at the dock for check-in around 8:45am. After you check in at the boat you'll have several minutes to relax or use the restroom before departing at 9:30 sharp on the adventurous boat ride to the island of Culebra (about an hour ride), sometimes the ride gets bumpy so if you are prone to seasickness an over the counter motion sickness remedy is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. If you choose motion sickness pills remember to take them one hour before going aboard.
After an hour you'll arrive at the island of Culebra around 10:30 where you'll have the opportunity to venture out on the reef and enjoy the marine life with the full snorkeling gear provided. After the snorkeling adventure you'll be ready for the tasty buffet style lunch the crew has prepared for you which will include local bread "pan sobao" baked fresh that morning, sliced meats with options (ham, turkey and salami), cheese options, salad with options (lettuce, tomato, red onions), a pasta salad (captain's specialty), tuna salad, pickles, potato styx and of course options for dressing, mayo, mustard, hot sauces and bacon bits. Enjoy the tasty lunch with some mellow island music while you embrace the island's spectacular scenery. After lunch and relaxing a little you can check out the breathtaking Flamenco Beach (this is the preferred destination but beach destination may vary due to weather and sea conditions), relax in the crystal clear water with a drink in hand, enjoy toys and activities for both kids and big kids or just hang out on the boat while listening to some island rhythms. After you soak up some rays at the beach and enjoy the island vistas you'll be greeted back on board with a refreshing seasonal fruit platter and some chips and salsa before heading back to mainland for an arrival around 3:45.
