We booked this tour for our Christmas day stop at Falmouth on our Norwegian Cruise. This option provided tubing and the falls and we were not able to do that through the ship's excursions. What a FANTASTIC experience!! We easily found our guide and driver at the port where they ushered us to a nice bus. There were 6 people in our party 3 adults, two 12 year olds and a 10 year old. We were joined by one family of 5 with three boys roughly the same ages as our children. We had an hour and 15 minute drive to Ocho Rios with a stop to get bottled waters, water shoes, and other souveniers on the way. We arrived at the White River Tubing and were greeted by Dwight. We really lucked out with this guy!! He has been on the river for over 25 years leading tours. He provided humor, songs, entertainment and education along the way. The river was very mild and there was really no risk of falling out of the tube since it has a plastic seat tied into the ring. The water is a bit cold although we quickly got used to it. We enjoyed the two dogs that work with Dwight and ran along the bank as we sailed down. They even got in a few times. We had a brief stop at a break area that offered cold beers, drinks, hammocks, swing over the river, and great photo backdrops. Then it was back down the river to the end. Then we reboarded the bus and drove the short drive to Dunn's River Falls. We were met by another guide and a photographer that would take us to the beach and up the falls. This was not an easy walk and certainly not for anyone with injuries or frailty. But we had an AMAZING time. It is thrilling to walk over the rocks, through the rushing water, into waist high water also a little cold, and climb up the rocks as the water is pushing you back. We saw multiple injuries and water shoes with good grips are an absolute MUST. It does take about 45 minutes to an hour. The photographer and the guide were great!! Very fun, helpful holding out hands when going over scary passes, and funny. There are several areas where you climb as a group holding hands in order to provide and receive support. Definitely fun but please make sure you are fit and comfortable with water situations.

Had a great time. Enjoyed the tubing very much. Falls were challenging but guides are very helpful. Returned to ship in plenty of time.

Stacey was an exceptional guide. The falls were beautiful. The tube ride was a lazy river ride with great guides. The jerk chicken was awesome. The sauce was hot, hot, hot!
