About this activity
From the Falmouth cruise ship terminal, you will be taken to the famous Rose Hall Great House once the opulent home of Annie Palmer “The White Witch of Rose Hall”. The Great House is surrounded with infamous legends – truth and half-truth - listen to them carefully. On arrival at the Rose Hall Great House, you will be greeted with a “Witches Brew” of your own choice.
Then after a tour of this beautiful 1700 mansion you will stop at the Shoppes of Rose Hall for shopping. Then depart for a scenic drive through contrasting residential areas of Montego Bay. Then, continuing downtown Montego Bay via the high level “top” road. Stop for picture taking and to view the entire Sangster International Airport and the surrounding oceanic areas. A picturesque moment.
Then continue downtown for duty-free shopping at the City Center and for local souvenirs and craft items at the Montego Craft Market. Then travel through Sam Sharpe Square, the town’s center which is named after one of our National Heroes, Samuel Sharpe. The history he created is interesting and filled with bravery and courage. Then finally, stop at the world famous Doctor’s Cave Beach. Nestled between the Marine Park and the Hip Strip, the translucent water is known for its mineral content and the world-famous white-sand beach is clean and inviting. Overall an average tour. Our guide did however alter the itinerary to allow us to go to the Hard Rock and skip the beach which was great!
Great excursion. Bus, driver and tour guide were ready when we arrived. They were fun and informative. We had plenty of time to see and shop and enjoy the day. Loved the beach and warm Caribbean water!
