River Boarding on the Rio Bueno in Jamaica

Following pickup from your hotel or your cruise port, travel to the Rio Bueno in an Air Condition Van along with a bottle water, one of Jamaica's scenic rivers. Listen to a short safety briefing while you receive your equipment, including your river board, a lifejacket, a helmet and fins.

Take a short trek through the jungle to the edge of the Rio Bueno, the launching point for your adventure. Hop on your river board, lying on your stomach and kicking your fins behind you to steer, and head downstream. Follow your guide as you steer with your hands and legs over the small and medium-intensity white-water rapids. 

Ride your board through the river's twists, turns and rapids. Pause for a break under a stand of bamboo trees, relax on the river bed and try out the rope swing. Jump back on your river board and run some more small rapids before being whisked under an old stone bridge. 

At the river delta, kick your fins to make it over the last small rapids and land at Bengal Bay's white sand shores. After a day of adrenaline-filled adventure, relax on the bay's sandy beach and bask in the tropical sun or take the opportunity to do some more swimming. 

When your 3-hour adventure has come to a close, enjoy transportation back to your hotel or Cruise Port.
