Birdwatching Adventure

About this activity
On this jeep trip, you will get to know the main habitats of the famous Reserva Natural de Sapal de Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António. The varied landscapes, traditional salt pans and alluvial plains, are the habitat of several species of birds, from the rosy flamingos, the colourful bee-eaters and the agile birds of prey such as the eagle or peregrine falcon.
The Jeep trip will allow you to access various places in the reserve, which would hardly be accessible on foot, and see a lot of these species of birds.
The trip starts early in the morning, when most bird species are more active.
This tour is ideal for amateurs who take beautiful photos of birds, as well as for professionals looking for the best regions of the Algarve to do Birdwatching. All this with the beautiful Guadiana River estuary in the background.
