The Ria Formosa is a protected Natural Park and consists of coastal lagoons, vast areas of tidal flats, saltmarshes and saltpans that are enclosed by a belt of sand dune islands with exquisite beaches.
In our boat tour we visit beautiful sections of the Ria Formosa and get to know a little bit more about this unique ecosystem. It’s an area with a rich biodiversity, natural habitat of thousands of species and feeding station for many migratory birds. Just relax and have fun!
After the boat tour you’ll be treated with a delicious meal in the paradisiac Tavira Island, at Sal Restaurante & Lounge.
The freshest fish caught that morning, seafood rice or chicken piri piri are the regional dishes packed with flavour that you can chose for lunch.

Starter: bread, butter, pates and olives
Main options: grilled fish sided with boiled potatoes and mixed salad, OR seafood rice, OR grilled chicken piri piri sided with fries and salad
