About this activity
Your sea kayak tour begins at Cais de Solaria in Lagos, where you'll meet your guide and be outfitted with your kayak and paddle, water proof bag and life jacket.

All levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced kayakers; your experienced guide, who is up to date on local wind, current, and tide conditions, leads the tour and is glad to keep an eye on you and answer any questions you may have. Once you're on the water, paddle through fascinating rock formations, observing their details in a way that would be impossible if you were traveling on a boat.

Stop to snorkel and swim at a deserted beach next to Praia Dona Ana (equipment provided), and enjoy an off-the-beaten-path location that you don't have to share with crowds of people—you’ll practically have it all to yourself. Spend at least half an hour at the beach swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. A motorized support boat follows your group to make sure that everyone is safe and sound.

Note: Children who are at least 5 years old are welcome to take part, provided that they know how to swim.

Highly recommended. Excellent and safety conscious tour guides helped people navigate the cave entries in slightly tricky conditions. We were very lucky to be able to do this trip at the very end of the season due to a heatwave and ocean swell within the safety limit for the sit on top kayaks. A full 3 hour tour, very good value. You need to be up for quite a workout. Cave and cliff scenery spectacular, and a quiet beach destination for a half hour or so of swimming or snorkeling. We did not like the motorized tour boats not keeping their distance from the kayaks and butting in ahead of us to enter the caves where they cause unpleasant if temporary air pollution but this seems to be inevitable in this region so dependent on tourism.

Fantastic trip. Very professionally organised. Our guide Jorges was most friendly, kind and patient. Our group was 6 double kayaks. You get drybags to put your stuff in though they're not massive so pack lightish. A quick briefing and you're off. You get to dip in and out of caves and through rock arches, then a bit of a relax on the beach before heading back. There are frequent stops so you can have a rest and get your camera out of the bag for some snaps. The paddle back is MUCH I'd say 3 or 4 times harder than the paddle out, so if you're not sure, I would get towed back with the support boat. We were done in by the time we got back, though glad we challenged ourselves. Only downside, which is of course out of the company's control, are the number of motorboats plying their trade around the caves etc. They're often more than a little grumpy with the kayakers and don't really make any allowance for you. A consequence of such a beautiful place is the number of people there - nothing you can do about that! But that said, I'd heartily recommend this trip to anyone.
