Rio Guadiana River Cruise

Arrive at the marina and join your group aboard the awaiting boat. Leave the dock and begin to sail up the River Guadiana, the natural border between Portugal and Spain. As you cruise along, you will have a stop at the timeless village of Foz de Odeleite. Observe the natural beauty of "Quinta do Rio", a place of natural beauty with views over the river and town. It was once a wine country with various vineyards and has since been converted to a recreational area with natural entertainments. Stroll through the village, visit the local people, and meet "Ti Rita", the cheese maker.

Cool down with a swim in the nearby swimming pool or enjoy a drink at the bar prior to lunch. As the staff serves you a traditional Algarvian lunch, feel free to pair it with red and white wine. Portuguese live music during your break before heading back out on to the river. After your visit, you will begin your cruise back to the dock.
