Western Algarve I - Silves, Monchique & Portimão

This Full Day Private Tour allows you to discover a big part of the Western Algarve. A day that involves history, culture and beautiful landscapes. Starting off with the town of Silves, former Moorish capital, we will visit the Medieval Castle, the wonderful Cathedral from the 17th century, and the Archaeology Museum. After that, just enjoy the drive until Monchique and on to the highest place in the Algarve, the 902 metres high viewpoint of Pico da Foia, where you will be able to admire a 360º landscape. Delight in experiencing the gastronomy from the highland region of the Algarve, in which the typical sausages and local delicacies are predominant. And so, by evening you will be able to experience the renowned Praia da Rocha, enjoy the Fort of Santa Catarina and the Marina by the Arade River, and get to know the historic centre of Portimão.
