2 Days from FEZ to FEZ via MERZOUGA DESERT

Itinerary

Day 1: FEZ - IFRANE - AZROU - MIDELT - MERZOUGA

Stop At: Ifrane Atlas Saghir, Morocco
At Ifrane, you will see its unique architecture of this ex-under protectorate city. Its nickname is " the little Moroccan Swiss" because of its architecture.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Azrou, Morocco
Azrou is famous for the valley of the monkeys. There you will watch the monkeys lazing in the cedar forest.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Midelt Carrière, Morocco
After leaving Azrou, we will drive towards Midelt to lunch. On the way, you will see the marvelous landscapes of the Atlas mountains. Then, you will arrive at Midelt, a small city beetween the Atlas mountains. There, you will lunch. On menu : grills and vegetables tajines !
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Station- service ZIZ Khemisset, A2, Morocco
After the lunch, we will rest and drink a glass of tea with a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley. Thanks to the Ziz stream, the valley is fully green with palms trees.
Duration: 25 minutes

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
You will arrive at the doors of Sahara. There, you will ride your dromedary to the Berber camp where you will spend the night. At the Berber camp, you could eat with the nomads, entertain yourself and be amaze under the stary sky of Sahara.
Duration: 12 hours

Accommodation included: A night in a Berber camp at the heart of Sahara desert.

Day 2: MERZOUGA – FEZ

Stop At: Merzouga Desert, Merzouga Morocco
The morning, you will wake up before the sunrise to watch it over the Sahara sand dunes. Then, you will ride back your dromedary to the hotel in Merzouga. There, you will take a shower and eat the breakfast.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Restaurant Zaida, Zaida, Morocco
On the way back, we will stop at Zaida, a small berber city in the Middle Atlas mountain. There, you will eat local dishes before leaving towards Ifrane.
Duration: 1 hour

Pass By: Fes el-Bali, Fes 30110 Morocco
Our arrival at Fez is planned around 5.00 p.m.
