This trip is a bit of a whirlwind tour of the Moroccan back country with the highlight being the sunset / sunrise in the dunes outside of Merzouga. Downside is that it takes a long time to get between stops resulting in a lot of windshield time. Ride was comfortable - Mercedes minivan that seats 8 - and we were lucky to be joined by an Austrian couple and their children that were great travel companions. Shout-out to our driver Mustafa who kept the rig on the road, provided a great insight on Moroccan culture and pointed out relevant facts and history along the way. He was especially helpful on the drop off in Marrakech making sure we were either at our hotel or had a somebody walk you to your riad. He will make the trip memorable. Food stops along the way were comparable to restaurants in the Medinas of either Fes or Marrakech. Glamping in Merzouga was above expectations with a private in bathroom in the tent. Mattress was a bit stiff but clean, warm and spacious. Random highlight was our tour guide of Rassini who was super hip yet extremely traditional and walked through the customs of the ethnic groups of the town while we took in the local markets. One tip for newbies - pack wine or spirits as you will not find anything along the way.

All good. , except the desert camp. The facilities were primitive. Saw a nearby camp, with excellent facilities. People should be made aware of options. Those who would not mind extreme cold, no hot water and non flushing toilettes this may be OK. Enjoyed the rest of the trip. Trip from Fez to Marrakech was very good. Thanks

This is a amazing tour. It was a great experience on this three days. We enjoin the sunset ride and sunrise time. We were transferred to a 4x4 jeep to the camel base when our van arrived to desert. The staffs on the camel base ask we taking more cloths and water then bring us to the camel. But there were extremely cold after sunset in the desert. There were most tourist didn't had a good sleep on the night because not enough warm. There were nothing supplied except the dinner and a cup of tea on morning in the camp. The dinner was good. The breakfast was severed after return back to the camel base that was almost 10:30 am. Please bring enough cloths and some snacks with you. On the following two days, we enjoin the views and the meals. The driver Salim is a very good guy. He speak good English but he is not a tour guide. But he answer all the questions we asked. He stop the car on the side when he knew we were taking the picture. He went to our FEZ hotel to pick up and shipped the painting to our next stop when he knew we left it in Fez. He contacted our hotel staff before drop us in Marrakesh. This tour price was very good and valued. We found we got the best price on this tour when we talk to others on the same camp.

This tour provides an ideal transportation from Fez to Marrakech with the added bonus of a camel trek and a night in the Sahara. The driver was great and very professional but was not really a guide so don't expect a tour as such. The night in the Sahara and ride on camels in the sunset was the highlight. Other short stops in the tour were also interesting such as Ben Ait Haddou. The small group was great - 4 people in total in a mini van that could hold up to 6.
