Authentic Morocco 4 days Desert Tour to Erg Chegaga Dunes From Marrakech

Day 01 : Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Agdez - Zagora :

Greetings at your riad or hotel where you will be picked up. you will start your journey southward to Draa valley via Tizi n’Tichka pass. you will visit the berber village of Ait Ben Haddou, it was established in the 11th century, its position on the main Marrakech to the sahara route, meant it was an ideal stop off for traders taking salt across the desert and returning with goods such as gold and ivory. After lunch, we continue over the Anti Atlas mountains, via the Berber villages of Agdz and the amazing Draa Valley. We will have dinner and spend the night in a riad/hotel in Zagora.

Day 02 : Zagora - Tamagroute - Erg Chigaga:

After breakfast we will continue towards M’hamid. We will visit the the original town of the 16th century dynasty Tamgroute and the old Koran library and to see the ceramics. We arrive to the Saharan village of M’hamid before taking the off-road track to Erg Chigaga. We will ride the camels into the attending the sunset and spend the evening in a desert camp, enjoy a Moroccan dinner, listen to berber music, you can join by drumming or dancing. Overnight in a traditional Nomad camel hair tent.

Day 03: Erg Chigaga – Taliouine – Taroudant :

After breakfast we drive across the Sahara over the stony desert and the dried-up Lake Iriqui. In the middle of this lake, we can search for fossils. At the edge of the desert at Foum Zguid, we drive north to Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets, where we stop for lunch. After we reach Taliouine a town famous with Safran, visit to a Safran co-operative. If your visit coincides with the Safran harvest, you will have the opportunity to meet the Berber people with their families harvesting the Safran in their fields. You will arrive in Taroudant early evening. Overnight at your Riad/hotel.

Day04 : Taroudant - Tizi Ntast - Marrakech :

The visit Troudant which has history .With its majestic gold ,pink and orange tinted circuit of high walls ,Taroudant is half citadel and half oasis.

It is a town of great charm ,the ruddy,clay houses,Minarets and groves of oranges and pomegranates seem to drowse beneath the gaze of the frosted high Atlas ,the walls,the souks ,and the starks backdrop of the high atlas are the town main attractions. 

After your Visit of city of Taroudant ,we will take the road of the pass of Tizi–N–TASSET towards Taroudant , where you will cross the pass of tizi N–Tasset which is 2100 M above sea level ,it is charactrised by greenery juxtaposing clay hills and roads .

on our way trip driving through Tizi -n-tast you will be able to see the almond trees and walnuts trees in bloom.Large gardens reflecting in the sun . the pass runs into the souss plain and then on to Ourigan and into Amzmiz .Amzmis is one of the beautiful villages of Morocco .afternoon we arrive to Marrakech .End of Service
