Fes excursions to Moulay Idriss & Volubilis is another hidden treasure in Morocco, The famous Roman ruins of Volubilis, the stunning buildings and old ruined castles and palaces made by the Romans the 3rd century B.C. Volubilis, The Mauritanian capital, and the most attractive preserved Roman ruins, we will be discovering together the most impressive historical and cultural secrets of the Roman old city, and the extensive remains of these survive in the archaeological site, that will give the clearest image about the fantastic architecture and make you live back at that time. The following is Moulay Idriss Zerhoun, an important spiritual site as the whole city is considered as a holy towns, that holds a very special value in the hearts of Moroccan locals, it's also the first place where Moulay Idriss (the founder of Fes city ) ,arrived bringing the Islam Religion with him, and founding the country’s first real dynasty, very large history and value for a small town.

Next on our Day Trip from Fes to Volubilis, we will be visiting captivating Imperial city in Morocco, Meknes The Ismalian Capital, “Moroccan Versailles” one of the largest walled city and a perfect example on the real Moroccan culture and traditions. The charm of the city is on its large history, specially on the Sultan Ismail's time, there castles were built and a huge history was made. You will easily notice the Spanish-Moorish style in every corner of the city. The city is surrounded by high walls with great doors, as you feel the greatness of ancient cultures and old empires. You will be guided through the wonderful old Historical Monuments and traditional sites, as the famous Bab el Mansour el Aleuj , and Medersa Bou Inania of Meknes and so many other fascinating sites ,the last visit in Meknes would Al Hadim Square, the small version of “Jamaa El Fna” in Marrakech and the most vibrant part of the city, where you will find all charming features of the Moroccan culture, from local food, traditional handmade handicraft, amusing shows and story tellers. At the end of our amazing Fes excursions to Volubilis, we will drive back to Fes the old city passing by magnificent landscapes
