At 8.30 a.m, Depart your Fes hotel or Riad by private, air-conditioned vehicle with your guide, and head high up into the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, a town with a stunning walled medina, and originally a Berber post. Chefchaouen is much more than just a pretty face. The city is full of attractions, thanks to its rich heritage. The kasbah, built by Moulay Ismail, is now practically a ruin and located next to it is the great mosque. Although the medina is small, but authentic: we will stroll through its alleys to mingle with the locals and take in the smells of everyday life The busy market offers a mix of traditional Moroccan wares and souvenirs, with some excellent bargains. Walking here feels like moving through a dream.
