Sailing from Gocek to Fethiye
To begin our day we will pick you up from your accommodation in our comfortable minibus at 10.00. We will then take a short drive to the town of Göcek where we embark on our boat, a large and very comfortable mediterranean yacht. We never take more than 15 people so you will have your pick of places to relax. There is plenty of space whether you want sunshine or shade, or both!
Once we are settled you will be given a complimentary drink of tea, coffee or water. Water, tea and coffee are available throughout the day free of charge.
It takes approximately 2 hours to sail to Fethiye so we will arrive at 13.30. Our bus will drive from Göcek to Fethiye and will be available to drive you to the market or the shopping centre should you wish. You will then have 2 and a half hours of free time in Fethiye. Take your time to explore the old bazaar, visit the bustling large market, the world-famous fish market or just simply sit in a bar on the prom and watch the world go by. The bus will also be available for you to leave your purchases. This means that you don’t need to carry everything around town and shouldn’t limit your retail therapy!
At 16.00 we will leave Fethiye and sail back out to sea. Tea and homemade cakes will be available for an afternoon snack. We will make plenty of swimming stops along the way.
Dinner will be a Turkish BBQ with meatballs, chicken, fish and a vegetarian option. There will be different types of salads and cold mezes followed by fresh fruit. As the sun begins to set take your time to marvel at the magnificent scenery that surrounds you whilst relaxing on the boat with a cool drink. Once we arrive back in Gocek our mini bus will be waiting to return us to Dalyan and we anticpate reaching home at 22.00pm
This is an amazing day out. Fethiye is a lovely town and this trip combines the best that Turkey can offer. History, markets, sailing and enjoying the sunshine.
