Chianti bike tour with wine & food tasting in an authentic Tuscan farm

The Chianti area is one of the most important Italian wine countries, a unique place with rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves that made Tuscan backcountry world wide famous. A bike ride in Chianti is a perfect combo of fitness, outdoor, nature, food & lifestyle.
We'll meet in Florence by the big statue with the man on the horse in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, then we'll reach the starting point in Chianti by van, it's just 20 minutes. After a quick bike setting to ensure the perfect bike set-up for everyone, we'll start the ride. There are many options about the course, your guide's deep knowledge will make the difference, choosing the course according to your fitness level, your needs and desires. We'll provide professional bikes and helmets for a perfect ride. If you need we can provide e-bikes and extra equipment if needed, like bike trailers, child seats.
During the ride your guide'll explain everything about the surroundings and give you some suggestions for a better biking experience. You'll ride through vineyards and olive groves, on gravel path or single-tracks if you like, into forests and between fields.
Your wheels will roll into a painting made by nature, with you in the typical Tuscan backgruond landscape.
Finally we will finish the ride in an authentic family farm, visiting the cellars, surrounded by the unmistakable smell of the old barrels, where you'll discover how they produce the world famous Chianti Classico wine.
After that you'll enjoy some of that wine, tasting different blends of grapes, home made bruschetta with extra-virgin olive oil, cheese and other typical Toscan food.
Then the guide'll bring you back to Florence.
