About this activity
With this cooking class you can find out how to cook the tastiest dishes of Tuscan cuisine. The Tuscan cuisine offers a variety of dishes that vary from province to province, and that really highlights the richness and quality of local products that Tuscany produces.
The kitchen is primarily culture, conviviality and creativity and is a way to learn about the traditions of the country wishing to visit. Learn to cook dishes but above all, learn to know and appreciate the aromas and flavours of this extraordinary land.
The location: la Fattoria (farmhouse) is located south east of Florence just 15 miles from the center, on a hill in a place where wine is the product of centuries of excellence. The farmhouse covers about 200 hectares, of which 14 to 40 vineyards and olive grove. The vineyards have all recently re-planted and improvements in the cellar led to develop historical excellent wines that are expressions of the territory and tradition.
At the end of the course (which last about 4 hours) you will taste the dishes you have prepared. Each participant will receive their own diploma and recipe book in English.

While it ws originally billed as cooking class on the Tuscan hills, there was a last minute change and the class was in a B and B in Florence. While we did not get to experience the Tuscan Hills Farmhouse or select produce, we did have a nice cooking class with only one other couple. We made tiramisu, pasta and eggplant parmesan all from scratch...then got to eat it for dinner. Our instructor Cynzia was very experienced and made sure we did everything to her high standards which we appreciated when we finally got to enjoy!
