E-Bike Ride to Vineyard Swimming Pool Experience

We meet at the shop in the centre of Florence between 10am and 11am to collect your electric bikes and prepare the GPS route. The tour leaves Florence quickly and after around 40 mins cycling on the quiet back roads, arrives at Fiesole, the historic town on the hill to the North of Florence. Here there is a piazza for a coffee stop and a monastery to visit with spectacular views down the valleys into Florence. After Fiesole the route descents through cypress tree forests, past castles and vineyards to arrive in the little Tuscan village of Settignano in time for lunch at either the small alimentary or restaurant there. From Settignano the route traverses olive groves and vineyards to arrive at PoggioPiano estate where you will meet the owners of this organic vineyard and have the option to pay for a glass of wine or do a wine tasting with swimming pool access in the outdoor pool, right the heart of the vineyard. After this your journey continues along the River Arno cycle path back into Florence and up to Piazzale Michelangelo to see the wonderful panorama of Florence's iconic skyline, before returning to the shop in the historic centre. Inclusions in the price are e-bike rental, helmet and lock, GPS map, access to the vineyard and breakdown cover while on the bikes.
