About this activity
Hotel La Tabaccaia is the result of a restoration work related to Castelfalfi’s existing buildings - the hotel used to be a tobacco factory. The restoration work has maintained the original structure, and now this place offers all modern comforts with warm and authentic hospitality.
For example, in many of the 31 rooms and suites of La Tabaccaia, ceiling wood beams are still visible as well as the old bricks darkened by time.Guests can enjoy a rich continental buffet breakfast in the morning and a cup of tea at the bar in the afternoon, where they can also have a drink or an aperitivo.La Tabaccaia can also be the perfect venue, welcoming and functional, for small meetings.
There are three connectable meeting rooms (12 people max per room). Wi-Fi is available as well as screens for presentations.
If you need a break, coffee breaks can be organized by the hotel on request.Golf Club Castelfalfi. Thanks to its temperate climate, Tuscany is an ideal destination for golf lovers as it allows you to play throughout most of the year. The course of the Golf Club Castelfalfi is one of the most fascinating in terms of landscape and views and one of the most challenging, thought according to principles of sustainability.
With its 27 holes, divided into two courses, it invites expert players and is fun for practicing amateurs. The Mountain Course (Par 72, 6.351 meters) awarded at international level, awarded with the 3rd prize of the prestigious “GOLF INC. Renovation of the Year Award 2011”, is a Champion Course, challenging and highly technical but is also suitable for less expert players thanks to the 5 different starting points. The Lake Course (Par 37, 3.171 meters) is suitable for everyone, whatever their handicap but is nevertheless technically and strategically challenging. Both courses are the result of the accurate re-designing by two expert architects: Rainer Preissmann and Wilfried Moroder (EIGCA associates – London). There is also a driving range with grass tees, covered areas for golf clinics and a small Club House with bar and terrace.
