Our tour will allow to visit all the places in Florence where the series Medici Masters of Florence was

filmed.

You will have a walking tour in the center of Florence (Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio courtyard, The

Dome square with the history of Brunelleschi's Dome and the Gates of Paradise of the Baptistery). You will

enter Palazzo Medici, the first palace of the Medici dinasty discovering the one of the most charming fresco

of the city, San Lorenzo church - the Medici church - and the Medici Chapel with The Nwe Sacristy by

Michelangelo.

You will avoid the long lines thanks to priority entrance tickets

The tour includes: an Italian coffee or cappuccino in the oldest coffee-shop of Florence and a glass of

Prosecco wine at the end of the tour.

Visit all the places in Florence where the series Medici Masters of Florence was filmed and find out what is

true in the characters played by Dustin Hoffman, Richard Madden, Annabel Sholey...

Admire the masterpieces of artists who worked at the Medici court such as Brunelleschi, Donatello,

Botticelli, Michelangelo and many others ......

You will start your tour with a coffee or cappuccino in the most ancient bar of Florence in Piazza Signoria,

the square is full of sculptures for this reason is considered an "open air museum" and you will discover

that each statue hides a deeper meaning related to members of the Medici family.

You will visit the Palazzo Vecchio’s courtyard and you will appreciate the Tower of Arnolfo, where Cosimo

the Elder was imprisoned; then we will stroll along the Dante Alighieri’s district and arrive in Piazza del

Duomo where we will tell you about the incredible story of the construction of the Cathedral and

Brunelleschi's Dome.

We will tell you all the stories of the Gate of Paradise, masterpiece of Lorenzo Ghiberti, which is the access

door of the Baptistery of San Giovanni where Cosimo de’ Medici used to gather in prayer.

We will go along the ancient "Via Larga" up to Palazzo Medici the first Renaissance palace in Florence,

private home of the Medici family for nearly two centuries; inside it you will admire the Cappella dei Magi

by Benozzo Gozzoli, a masterpiece of late gothic painting and the Luca Giordano hall, one of the most

important fresco in baroque style. Then we will reach the Church of San Lorenzo in the Medici’s District,

we will visit the inside of the church, the Old Sacristy by Brunelleschi and the pulpits by Donatello, will see

the tomb of Cosimo the Elder by Verrocchio and the tomb of Giovanni di Bicci and Piccarda Bueri.

We will finish our tour in the Medici Chapel, the place where all the members of the family had been

buried, which houses the "Treasury of St. Lorenzo" that we will admire before visiting the New Sacristy, the

last work in Florence made by Michelangelo Buonarroti; in the new sacristy you will get stunned by the

allegories of night, day, sunrise and sunset, four amazing sculptures that will influence all the artists of the

Manierism.

At the end of the tour you will enjoy a glass of Prosecco wine in a very exclusive bistro… Cheers!
