About this activity
Meet your personal driver at your centrally located hotel and get ready for an evocative and authentic discovery of the Chianti Classico region, one of the most celebrated and fascinating wine areas in the world.

Left Florence, you will reach the village of Impruneta, located on the edge of the Chianti Classico area and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Impuneta is famous for its terracotta production and here you will visit a real furnace and witness a demonstration of the terracotta processing techniques.
After which you will try with hands-on how to work the terracotta, bringing home with you a typical souvenir of this unforgettable experience.
Left the furnace, you will reach a typical Chianti winery, where to discover some of the secrets of a winemaking, walking among the vineyard rows, visiting the winery and enjoying a delicious tasting of five different wines.
The tour continues to an olive oil mill, including an explanation of all the different phases of the oil pressing, followed by a tasting of extra virgin olive oil and a farmer’s lunch: a light lunch in the oil mill with typical dishes based on oil and according to the season.

In the afternoon your private driver will lead you to the medieval villages of Montefioralle and Greve in Chianti, to enjoy their colorful and timeless atmosphere of these picturesque Chianti towns.
Montefioralle, nestled in the heart of Chianti, among rolling hills and dreamy landscapes, is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Among stone alleys, overlooked by characteristic houses that climb through the village, you can discover a rare beauty jewel.
An ancient soul envelops Montefioralle - whose original name "Monteficalle" seems to derive from the fig plants that grew luxuriant in the fields around the castle, and here you can admire the still existing walls that culminates with some remains of towers, today destined to private homes.
In the picturesque medieval village of Greve, birthplace of the famous navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano, every year takes place the most important wine fair of the Chianti region.
Here you will have free time to admire the famous main square of the ancient “market” with its characteristic arcades and browse through the local artisan shops.
