The Castle was amazing, our tour guide Costanza was so knowledgeable and taught us a lot of about wine! The tour was actually quite awesome - not too long! For the cooking, chef was amazing and a ton of great tips. My only thing is that I thought we would be a little more hands on, there were three couples so we each got to do one thing (it was a four course meal) so the chef made the appetizer, we worked on pasta, another made dessert and the others did the second course. We only made one pasta type not three types of pasta like it said in the description. Nevertheless - it was amazing and I would go back to Castello del Trebbio again and next time I would stay there!

One of the highlights of our trip! The tour and cooking class were informative. We loved learning how to make pasta and sauce from scratch. The wine pairings at dinner were excellent as well! Highly recommend!!

Our visit was absolutely amazing!! We loved the tour and history of the castle. Our time with Chef Jerry was fabulous. He was so patient with us as we learned how to make our pasta. Food and wine was excellent! We were able to ship multiple bottles home to the U.S. which was very helpful. Highly recommend the tour and private chef. They were also able to setup transportation for us which was so helpful and much appreciated.

This tour was SO cool! Alberto was fabulous to work with prior to the tour (arranging transportation, making sure there were no dietary needs to be met, coordinating with another guest so we could split costs, etc.). He was very attentive when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed before the tour. Our guide (I'm sorry - I don't remember her name) was FABULOUS! She made sure all guests felt welcomed, made sure we all heard her as we toured the castle and wine cellars, she was what made the tour great! The chef (again, don't remember the name) was also AWESOME! He made sure everyone who wanted to participate did, he was very good at explaining what was happening (what ingredients were used, why, how to make the pasta and why, lots of tips and trick!). He was great at guiding everyone through the process (guests made the pasta - he made sure they knew what they were doing very gently so they didn't feel embarrassed about it!). The food and wine were awesome! Just an overall fabulous experience! We were in Europe two weeks and this was definitely the highlight! Would do it again, absolutely!

This was one of my favorite activities during my visit to Italy. The castle was beautiful, and the countryside scenery was what dreams are made of! And the cooking class! What fun! Several opportunities for hands-on experience. The grand finale was dinner accompanied by various wines made on their vineyard. It was also a great way to get out of the city and bask in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. A must-do activity!!!!

This was a great tour! Castello del Trebbio is stunning, the grounds are gorgeous and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. I booked this tour for myself, my husband and his parents. We were greeted by Stephania and had approximately 1 hour to tour Castello del Trebbio with her and a small group of 5 others. The tour explained the history behind the castle, took us through the main floor only the main floor as a family still owns and lives on the upper levels, and through the wine cellars/ old dungeon where they make and store wine and olive oil. The tour was interesting, but the highlight was definitely the upgrade to the 4-course cooking class with Gerry the chef. There were only the 7 of us for this portion, and we made olive pesto, homemade pasta he taught us traditional methods for making the dough by hand, rolling it and cutting it, roasted chicken thighs wrapped in prosciutto and roasted potatoes, as well as a traditional tuscan cake so delicious!. After we learned to make these, and assisted the chef to make each course, we sat in the dining room of the castle and were served our meals along with wine pairings from the del Trebbio winery. This was a really neat experience, and although we have done cooking classes in Italy before, we learned some new techniques, had a lot of laughs with Gerry and learned some fascinating history from Stephania. The castle grounds themselves are stunning, and I highly recommend going early to explore and take in the beautiful scenery.

We visited Castello del Trebbio today as part of our honeymoon. We started with a tour of the castle which was absolutely breathtaking. We had such an great experience learning about the history and current family who owns the castle. Our guide Costanza was able to give us such incredible knowledge about the wines and olive oil oh the region was so interesting. It gave us a deeper appreciation for the thought and care that goes into production. We were fascinated on the knowledge she gave on Chianti and the difference in the young and reserve types. After our tour, we headed into the kitchen to learn from chef Jerry. He was so patient with us and loved the tips he gave on utilizing different ingredients. We made a a variety of items including delicious chicken with potatoes and homemade pasta with a delicious vegetable cream sauce. We even forget we were eating vegetables! Our lunch was served in a beautiful dining room by our guide Costanza. We were able to taste 4 incredible red wines, one with each course of our meal. This visit exceeded our expectations and fulfilled my biggest wish, to cook traditional Italian food in Tuscany! We picked the perfect place to visit and have this be a wonderful memory of our honeymoon! Thank you Castello del Trebbio and especially Costanza and Jerry making this day so very special!
