I enjoyed San Gimignano a lot . Siena was ok but too much time allotted there.

It would be great if during the final travel from Siena to Greve the bus stops for some pictures of the Tuscany beauties.

We thought this would be a good option for us as we had wanted to travel to the sights independently via public transport but getting to SG isn't easily achievable. However, this trip is actually the bus ride part of the main guided tour group. It's therefore suggested you walk in to the centre with the group painfully slow and you have to meet up in the Campo to shuffle back to the car park en masse. We had about 3 hours in Siena which was enough time for a little wander off the beaten track the main streets were mobbed, seeing all of the Cathedral attractions except for the ceiling I think this is a must in Siena - it was the most resplendent cathedral we saw in Tuscany, yet isn't included on the rest of the party's guided tour and a picnic lunch in the Campo, but not enough time for a little look in the beautiful shops - which we could have done if we'd met the group back at the coach as it took 3/4 hour to meet up and get back. We then had less than 2 hours in San Gimignano - we managed to climb the tower and visit an enoteca to enjoy the local fayre with glorious views over the countryside, but we didn't really see any of the town by doing this, and then lost another half an hour waiting for the coach to come back for us. I think the ideal schedule to really see and enjoy these locations would be morning and lunch in SG, and afternoon and evening in Siena - and that way we would have avoided getting stuck in rush-hour traffic back in Florence too.
