About this activity

Avoid the infamous long lines and quickly start your trek up to the Brunelleschi Dome! An expert official tour guide from the area will take you to the top of the highest building in Florence. During the climb you'll travel on the same staircases Brunelleschi used. You'll travel back in time as you go up all 463 steps and squeeze through the narrow passageways of his masterpiece building!

At the top of the dome you'll enjoy the spectacular view of Florence. The tour will give you the special occasion to see the techniques used by Brunelleschi, getting up-close to the frescos decorating the dome's interior. So many useful tools were invented to help speed up the construction that, amazingly, many of them are still used today!
