We booked this trip for our family of 4, with 2 kids ages 11 and 9. We loved the idea of making it private so that the kids could easily interact and we could ask all the questions we needed to about Florence, a city that begs for dozens of questions to be asked! This tour was amazing, thanks to our guide, Alberto. He was the perfect combination of informative and fun and was very engaging and tolerant of our kids, who did melt down a little in the heat wave that was sweeping through Europe at the time. We hit all of the big sites that we wanted to and Alberto was flexible and accommodating to any and all of our requests, his vast knowledge of his home city allowing us to go anywhere and do anything. More importantly he had wonderful stories and an eye out for the lesser known details and facts, making the tour that much more special. I highly recommend taking this tour and request Alberto if at all possible!

This tour was good and Jacomo was knowledgeable but it was hot and the museum a/c was out which did not help. The David was an amazing sculpture!

We had a great time walking around Florence while Alberto is providing is with stories and information about the city. He is knowledgeable and professional and he continued on with his lecture even with all the drizzle.

This private half day walking tour with entry to see the Statue of David was wonderful! Our guide was flexible to our needs and as Florence is very small we felt like we knew what else we could do during our 3 night stay!! The David statue was an absolute highlight of our holiday!!

Jessica was a wonderful guide and was very good showing us around Florence. She didn't rush us and was very knowledgeable. I especially liked going to see the "real" David and how she explained the various sides of the statue and what to look for. I would highly recommend you doing this tour as it helps you learn to navigate through the city and you get to learn about a lot of different and interesting buildings, bridges, streets, and art.

Awesome experience and Bernardo was the best guide! Would definitely recommend as a great half-day tour. The skip-the-line for the David statue was worth including in this tour.

Our tour group only ended up by 6 people, plus the guide. The guide was very knowledgeable about Florence and Italian history and took us to see many interesting sites on our walking tour. The tour ended with a visit to the David, which was amazing.

I loved this tour! We met in the central piazza in Florence where we met our guide, Jessica. She was very knowledgable and a local to the Firenze area. She guided us down streets, calling our attention to landmarks, sculptures, and more. We arrived at the Academia Gallery where she took care of acquiring our skip the line tickets and took us through the highlights of all of the individual galleries. She then gave us an exquisite description of the Prisoners by Michaelangelo and then gave us plenty of time to admire the incredible statue of David from all angles in the Gallery. She then finished up the tour pointing out Pointe Vechio, and making great recommendations for lunch, shopping and other sights to view while in the city. This was perfect for us as we were only there one full day!

Enjoyed this tour a lot. Francesco was our guide and he was wonderful. He had so much knowledge and love of Florence. He was great with our kids and was flexible to tailor the tour to our needs. He took our kids to get gelato halfway through the tour. Don’t do Florence without a guide you’ll never get the history and detail a knowledge guide will provide you.

I cannot remember our guide's name but she was excellent - we only had 9 on the tour so we were able to get details from her at every stop. She pointed out some restaurants and a gelato place and we went back to them after the tour and they were excellent! Our son had been to Florence before and said that she had a wealth of knowledge and he wished he had done the tour the first time he visited. Our final part of the tour took us into the Museum to see the David and while that was incredible our guide pointed out the part of the museum that housed the musical instruments - I didn't realize that the Piano was invented in Florence - I had been to the museum years ago and never ventured much past the David - we were there in the peak of summer in very hot weather so skipping the long lines was well worth it, but having a knowledgeable guide was fantastic. Highly recommended!
