This is the BEST way to gain entrance into the Uffizi Gallery. Get a timed, skip-the-line ticket through Viator. Florence is extremely crowded in the summer months. Our Viator representative met us at a meeting point and escorted us to admittance. Our wait was only a few minutes, compared to hours-long (and hot!) lines for general admittance. We entered the museum at our appointed time. This was one of our best decisions for our trip.
If I didn’t call the operator I would not have been informed of the change in meeting place. I wish they sent me an email so i didn’t have to waste time searching for the meeting place that was listed. Also, the ticket was overpriced. The line wasn’t that long to begin with.
