Special full day tour of Florence including skip-the-line Uffizi and Accademia
Take a whole day to explore the wonders of Florence. This comprehensive Cradle of Renaissance experience includes Piazzale Michelangelo and the village of Fiesole, then viewing the most incredible works of art at both Uffizi and Accademia Galleries, visiting Piazza Signoria, Basilica di Santa Croce, Duomo and Baptistery (outside visit). Starting at the world famous Piazzale Michelangelo, where you will take time to marvel at the panoramic views, the tour continues into the city to visit the Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo’s original statue of David. Then we’ll stroll through the streets to Piazza Duomo.
A relaxing break for the included lunch and then it’s onto the final stages of the tour. The next stop is Fiesole, an Etruscan-Roman village, which is reached after traversing leafy roads with awe-inspiring views of the Arno Valley and Florence. A short stroll and we will visit Piazza Della Signoria and learn of the city’s social life and experience the stunning architecture of Palazzo Vecchio, with the visit culminating inside the Uffizi Gallery.
The tour ends here, but you can stay as long as you wish. The Renaissance masterpieces will astound you, so immerse yourself in the works of Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo, Giotto and many more of the great Italian artists. This all-inclusive tour provides insight into the history of the area and the typical Tuscan cuisine.
