Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Florence

Pass By: Piazza del Duomo, 50122, Florence Italy
We will meet at the hotel at 5:30 to discuss the itinerary for the week followed by a welcome cocktail then a relaxing dinner and stroll around the city center.

Day 2: Guided City Tour of Florence

Pass By: Piazza del Mercato Centrale, 50136, Florence Italy
The City Tour will be lead by one our best Florence guides where she will take you see the iconic spots of the city. You will end up at the central food market "mercato centrale" to taste and visit then you will join your host for lunch. You will have the afternoon free to shop and explore and we will meet up for a very special roof-top cocktail overlooking the Arno River and the Ponte Vecchio.

Day 3: Following breakfast there is a group transfer by private coach to your home in Chianti at a 16th century abbey/winery

Stop At: Loc. Badia a Coltibuono, 53013, Gaiole in Chianti Italy
Upon arrival at the abbey, you will have time to settle in followed by a tour of the estate, wine tasting then a wonderful dinner.

• Lunch: We will be taking the scenic route through Chianti on our way to the abbey we will stop at Panzano in Chianti for lunch
Accommodation included: Overnight at the abbey

Day 4: Following a magnificent country breakfast we will head to the town of Greve in Chianti to visit their wonderful market

Stop At: Castello di Verrazzano, Via di Citille 32, 50022, Greve in Chianti Italy
You will visit the castle's gardens and historical ageing cellars followed by tasting of their carefully selected wines accompanied by some wonderful Tuscan hams, wild boar salami, cheese as well as tasting their extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars

Day 5: Following another wonderful breakfast we will visit the medieval hill-top city of Siena with a private City Tour

Stop At: Piazza del Campo, 53100, Siena Italy
You will visit the magnificent Cathedral of Siena as well as a tour of the city center and end up at the Piazza del Campo or the city's main square
Duration: 4 minutes

Meals included:
• Dinner: You will return to the abbey in time for a relaxing glass of wine followed by a magnificent hands-on cooking class.
Accommodation included: Overnight at the abbey

Day 6: This is a busy day. Following breaks you will visit a cheese producer then on to the Val d'Orcia and Montalcino

Stop At: Historic Centre of the City of Pienza, near Montepulciano Italy
Shopping and exploring this beautiful town

Meals included:
• Dinner: Following the tasting at the winery La Capanna where will dine at their restaurant, a wonderful 4 course is in store !
Accommodation included: Overnight at the abbey

Day 7: Following breakfast a late morning transfer to your new country home at the Winery Castello di Gabbiano

Stop At: Castello di Gabbiano, Via di Gabbiano 22, 50026, San Casciano in Val di Pesa Italy
After you settle in, you will be taken for a tour of the estate and cellars following by a tastings

Meals included:
• Lunch: While en route to the winery, we will stop for lunch at a country osteria
• Dinner: You will tour the winery and taste some of their finest wines followed by dinner at the trattoria Il Gallo Giallo,
Accommodation included: Overnight at Castello di Gabbiano

Day 8: Following breakfast we will head to San Gimignano for a private City Tour and a wonderful lunch at a near-by winery

Stop At: Historic Centre of San Gimignano, Piazza del Duomo 2, 53037, San Gimignano Italy
You will visit this magnificent city of towers and explore the wonderful shops and narrow winding cobblestone streets

Meals included:
• Lunch: After the visit at San Gimignano we will visit the family owned winery, Fattoria Poggio Allora for lunch
• Dinner: Mid afternoon you will return to Castello di Gabbiano to relax before a farewell dinner on the estate at Il Cavilieri
Accommodation included: Overnight at Castello di Gabbiano

Day 9: Following breakfast, check-out and morning transfer back to Florence airport/train station

Pass By: Florence Airport, Peretola, Via del Termine, 11, 50127 Firenze FI, Italy
Transfer to the airport and train station, departure
