In this museum you will get the chance to see many paintings and Renaissance sculptures such as works by Paolo Uccello,Sandro Botticelli and Andrea del Sarto.The most important sculptures your guide will show you will be the original plaster model by Gianbologna for the marble scultures of the Rape of the Sabines, The Slaves(originally for the tomb of Julius II),The Saint Matthew and the Pietà from Palestrina,one of four compositions of the same subject who acts as a guard of honor to Michelangelo’s David.If you want your tour to last longer you can combine it with a walking tour making last 3 hours instead of 2.
