Day 1:Florence

Welcome to Florence! Check in is 2:00pm at the accommodation. Take some time to relax before meeting up with the tour guide and other fellow travel companions at 6:00pm for orientation. The guide will then take everyone on a Orientation walk of the city center, and visit famous attractions such as the Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio, and learn firsthand why this city is known as the ‘Athens of the Middle Ages’. The tour will end on one of the most popular streets of Florence, known for its clubs and nightlife, and everyone will stop at a bar favored by locals for its aperitivo. Nothing gets more Italian than a traditional aperitivo: lots of laughs and stories shared between friends over delicious cocktails and an all-you-can-eat-buffet!

Day 2:Pisa & Cinque Terre

Meet at the Santa Maria Novella Train Station pharmacy at 7:00am. Travelling via train, the first stop is Pisa. Everyone will have some downtime to explore the Square of Miracles, which is home to the beautiful Pisa Cathedral, Baptistery, Campo Santo and the famous Leaning Tower. Take a beat, relax, or take a bunch of pictures posing with the Leaning Tower before heading to the next destination. Explore the best of the Cinque Terre or ‘Five Lands’: Riomaggiore, Manarola and Vernazza. These coastal villages are famous for their natural beauty, picturesque walking trails, panoramic views and warm beaches. Before the day ends, everyone will have a chance to relax on the beaches of Vernazza or explore the town at their leisure. Free evening.

Day 3:Tuscany

A full day trip from Florence and into the heart of Tuscany! Meet at 10:00am to head towards the Winery and Wine Tasting School, located in the stunningly beautiful Chianti Region. Taste 4 different types of wine, including the famous Chianti Classico and Brunello of Montalcino. There will also be extra virgin olive oils and 30year old balsamic vinegar for everyone to try. Learn to recognize the different flavors and textures from a passionate, local wine producer. The second stop of the day is a small Local Winery, famous for its production of D.O.C.G. Vernaccia White Wine. The winemaker will take everyone on a tour of the vineyards and cellars, and show you the art and dedication behind wine production.Sample wines such as the Vernaccia, Rosé and Chianti. Everyone will have the opportunity to purchase these locally made products at the end of the tour. The final stop of the day is the historic city of San Gimignano, also known as the ‘Manhattan of Tuscany’ for its many towers. This town is home to an award-winning gelateria, so be sure to stop there for a treat! Back to Florence at 5:00pm. Free evening.

Day 4:Florence

The tour officially ends on this day. Check out is 10:00am but feel free to store luggage at the accommodation for those who wish to explore Florence a little bit longer.
