Tuscany Motorcycle Tour - MotoGP Mugello

5 days
About this activity
Day 1 - Greetings and quick tour in Florence
We will meet at 17:00 in
Florence for greetings and take the rental motorcycles. Then we will ride to the amazing
Piazzale Michelangelo which has a breathtaking view of Florence. After that we will have a
welcome dinner in the best Pizzeria of Florence. After dinner, free time to
walk around Florence.
Day 2 - Ducati Museum and Factory through the Apennine Mounts
Meeting in the morning after breakfast. We will ride our bikes through the
Apennine Mounts making two
famous passes: “Passo della
Futa” and “Passo della
Raticosa” to
Borgo Panigale to visit the
Ducati Museum and Factory. We will have lunch at the
Ducati Scrambler Food Factory restaurant in
Bologna. After lunch we will go back to Florence. Free time in the evening for dinner and
visiting Florence.
Day 3 - Qualifying and Passo del Muraglione
We will wake-up early, have breakfast and be ready to reach with our bikes the
Mugello World Circuit to see the
qualifying of Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP. Lunch at the circuit (not included in the tour price). After that we will make another famous Italian pass, the “
Passo del Muraglione“. In the evening we will have a
dinner all together in Florence.
Day 4 - Race day!
Again: wake-up early, have breakfast and ride our bikes so we can reach the Mugello circuit on time to see the
races. Moto3 is at 11:00, Moto2, at 12:20 and
MotoGP at 14:00. Lunch at the circuit (not included in the tour price). After the races, with no hurry or stress (there is a very heavy traffic), we will ride back to our hotel in Florence and have a
relaxing afternoon. In the evening we will have our last dinner all together in Florence and
time to party!
Day 5 - Ride on the Chianti and visit to 3 towns
This will be our last day of tour. Once we are all ready we will depart from
Florence to the Chianti region through some exciting roads as the “Chiantigiana” and the “Cassia”. We will make some stops: first to
San Gimignano, a fantastic medieval city famous for its Towers (aka the “Medieval Manhattan”), the to
Monteriggioni, a cute little town that seems like a
movie set, where we will have lunch. For last, we will stop at
Greve in Chianti, the heart of this wine region. From there we will ride our bikes to reach Florence in the afternoon to give back the motorbikes and the greetings!
