The Big Fish Pros is a 46-foot sport fishing boat powered by twin Detroit Diesel 1050 horsepower engines to safely and comfortably transport all guests to the best fishing grounds in Fort Lauderdale. The industry-leading Bertram boat is equipped with U.S. Coast Guard mandated safety equipment in the event of an emergency.

At Big Fish Pros, we offer both half day, three quarter and full day fishing charters, and we’ll take you out into the deep sea or stick close to land for inshore fishing. However, the time of year (and even the time of day) that you fish will largely dictate the type of fish you’re likely to catch. For example, barracuda, yellowtail snapper, mahi-mahi and tarpon fishing is typically good at any time of the year. But if you want to catch kingfish, sailfish, mackerel & Mahi-Mahi we suggest booking your excursion during the spring. Marlin fishing is best during the winter and summer months, and sailfish fishing is ideal in the winter or spring. Swordfish is caught year-round, but these fish are more active during the night.
