Stop At: Riverfront Cruises, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Make your way to downtown Fort Lauderdale to join this 1.5-hour luxury cruise of the city’s scenic riverfront. After posing for a souvenir photograph as you board the boat, stake out a prime viewing seat upstairs on the observation deck or in the air-conditioned dining room with picture windows. Relax and take in the sights as the boat departs the port to begin the journey.

Broward County is Florida’s second-most-populated county, with a variety of stunning homes, mansions and yachts. In recent years, Fort Lauderdale has distanced itself from its notorious spring break reputation and is now known for its relaxed coastal lifestyle and swanky properties.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Pass By: Fort Lauderdale Beach, A1A between Las Olas and Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

Take in the stunning views of Florida’s blue water as the ship makes its leisurely way along. Gaze out at the city’s massive luxury homes and mansions with Roman fountains and palm-tree filled yards. Get your camera ready for the mega yachts — you’ll see them up close and personal. Take in the stunning views of the marina and piers. Should you want a beverage or something to eat, the ship’s bar offers cooling cocktails like a specialty punch, nonalcoholic beverages and light snacks (own expense). You don’t want to miss this scenic journey.

Had 8 hours until our flight. Found this and it was very affordable. The commentary was excellent. Very funny and full of incredible information. One of the best parts of my vacation. Thank!

Very disappointed! We received a phone call about 1 hour before our tour to let us know that they would be using a different vessel, not the one pictured due to some issues with the boat. They did not tell us it would be a water taxi. We were offered 1 complimentary drink each. In addition they used a guide that was in training. He tried but simply did not know enough to be the tour guide.

What a disappointment. We were expecting to cruise on the riverboat, instead they put us in a little inclosed submarine type boat . Terrible comfort,as you had to sit sideways on a bench to view the river side . Terrible for taking picture as the windows were not very high and were sitting below the river bank . This was our third time on the cruise, the first two were on the boat that is advertised ,and we loved it . We had family in from Canada, drove from Punta Gorda to Ft Lauderdale just to take her on this river cruise .we thought the cruise had left has we could not see the cruise boat and they informed us this was the boat . The woman that took our tickets ,thought she was being funny, but not so,when I asked about washrooms. Her answer if you cant hold it for an hour and a half ,wear a diaper. Not so funny as iam sure there are people that cant. The crew on the boat were not so informative has our last two cruises ,and mentioned the tip twice on the way back . Tips should not be asked for ,as we have no problem giving tips when they are deserved ,has our last two riverfront cruises were. I understand things can happen ,but the customer should be informed of changes and given the option to cancel and wait for another date .

Our group really enjoyed the tour and the commentary. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The boat experienced a mechanical issue and we had to dock far from our starting point as we began our return trip. Though half an hour of the boat ride was not completed, our group felt we had gotten a full enough tour. We were safely escorted off the boat and instructed to take an Uber back to our starting point, where we were reimbursed for the Uber cost. A partial refund of the tour cost would have nice, but we all agreed we would do it again anyway.

This was relaxing and entertaining - it was great to see Ft. Lauderdale from the inland/waterway perspective and hear the history of the homes along the route. The remarks from the captain were enjoyable, if not a bit off color at times. The raffle - which we won - became a sales opportunity for the company that runs the tour - we sensed this immediately and shut them down - but that was not what we were looking for. They should not couch the sales effort as a raffle. Overall a nice time - recommended and avoid the raffle tickets : I bet the party cruise is a lot of fun!
