About this activity
You will start your tour biking from Basse Provence Estate, riding through stunning and bountiful vineyards, to the Labri Wine Estate for the first tasting. Get your taste buds ready! After the tasting, you will have the opportunity to look around and buy some wine bottles if desired (at own expense).
Following the first wine tasting, the second part of the bike tour will commence, and you will be rewarded with another wine tasting before heading back to your starting point
You must be able to cycle at least 15 km and be at least 16 years old to participate. The cycling is done mostly off-road, as opposed to paved paths, which is why you have to use mountain bikes, and not city cruisers. Know that this tour is weather dependent and may be cancelled if bad weather persists. You must take into account that the Franschhoek area is not flat, gradual to tough climbing will be cycled during the course of the tour.
