Your boat is equipped with 6 levels of uncrowded viewing decks, underwater viewing rooms (yes you are below the waterline), waterline viewing platform (maybe touch a whale), a hydrophone to listen to the whales singing. It is the biggest boat in the fleet with superior stability and comfort and Free WIFI available on board. You will also receive a complimentary souvenir DVD.

Choose between a morning tour 8.30am to 1.00pm or an afternoon tour 1.30pm to 5.30pm

The crew were great really friendly and informative. The boat was clean . There were only about 30 or so people on board so lots of room. We were so lucky to see humpback mothers and calfs breaching and slapping the water and later two males chased a female around the boat really close. A great afternoon.

Spirit of Harvey Bay was a very grand boat - much bigger than I expected. I am not sure if that is a plus or not. Certainly it was good to get up high and look for whales. Very comfortable and not overcrowded, lots of room to wander around. The morning tea and lunch were very good, the staff helpful and good information all the time over the speakers. Unfortunately the whales did not perform so well. There were plenty of them around but they did not come close to the boat and do their thing as I have seen on other occasions. So in that respect the trip was disappointing.
