About this activity
Guests have an opportunity to learn about Bahamian culture and take part in a cultural activity such as Bahamian cooking or craft or dance. After your Bahamian cultural tour you will have the option (to choose before arrival) weather you want to "make" a Junkanoo costume for you to wear or cook Bahamian food. Junkanoo costumes are hand made by Junkaoo artists for the annula Junkanoo Parade on New's Day in Freeport. Crepe paper is attached to the cardboard giving it color and life. Bahamians love to eat fried food and so you will be able to prepare fried conch, fish and plantain.
