Ben’s Cave Dive At Lucayan National Park

Come and experience one of Grand Bahamas truly wonderful and exciting tours. Your destination is the Lucayan National Park. This park is 42 acres in size; it has six ecosystems in very close proximity and two caves. Your adventure begins on pickup when your certified guide conveys the rich history of this destination during a narrative drive to Lucayan National Park. Upon arrival, your guide will introduce you to your dive site. It is a cave known as Bens Cave and it extends for almost 9 miles underwater. You will experience an amazing adventure that takes you back in time. Through this quiet body of water, you will encounter stalactites, stalagmites, a halocline, fossilized conch shells, bivalves and the list continues. Your dive time is approximately an hour, which will leave you begging for more. At the conclusion of your dive, your adventure continues through six different ecosystems. This introduction includes each ecosystem, both flora and fauna, as well the history of the first settlers from whom the park got its name known as Lucayans. Our walk will lead us to the last of the six ecosystems, a beautiful coastline known as Gold Rock Beach. Here you will have time to take in this natural beauty, swim if you like before your guide continues the adventure to your lunch destination. After this amazing experience, your guide will then drive you to the next stop of the day. The next stop is for lunch and relaxation before the return drive to your place of lodging. Enjoy lunch on a beautiful beach call Fortune Bay Beach from a wonderful restaurant known as Banana Bay. Lunch of your choice will be served to you on the outside wooden deck of this beachside restaurant surrounded by Coconut palm trees facing a turquoise sea.
