Dolphin Close Encounter

Take a 20-minute boat ride through the beautiful canal systems of Grand Bahama Island or along the South Shore of the island (depending on the weather). Arrive at a natural 9-acre lagoon, Sanctuary Bay, which is home to fourteen Atlantic Bottle Nose Dolphins. Sit with your feet in the water and enjoy an educational experience about these dolphins while they splash and jump around you, and step onto a 3 ft submerged platform where you can pet and even kiss a dolphin! Our photographers will take photos of you while you are interacting with the dolphins, and your photos will be available for purchase after the program. After your program, meet our Macaws in our Bird Patio, say hello to our African Tortoises or learn more about dolphins through the educational information posted throughout our facility.
