Swim with Dolphins

Explore the Dolphin Experience on Grand Bahama Island. See how remarkably intelligent and friendly dolphins are when you swim with them. On this very interactive program, you will take a 20-minute boat ride through the beautiful canal systems of Grand Bahama Island or along the South Shore of the island. (depending on weather) Arrive at a natural 9-acre lagoon, Sanctuary Bay, home to fourteen Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins and receive a short educational briefing from one of our professional dolphin trainers. Swim with the dolphins while plunging underwater to play or race them above the surface. Perform behaviors with the dolphins and ask them to turn around, speak, splash you or wave. Swim in between two dolphins and then hug and kiss them while our photographer takes photos of you. You may purchase your photos after the program. Approximate time in the water with dolphins - 20-25 minutes. After your program, meet our Macaws in our Bird Patio, say hello to our African Tortoises or learn more about dolphins through the educational information posted throughout our facility.
