Oreja Burro

After collecting customers at the scheduled time, the guide take you to the starting point of this route, that allows us to climb the Pico de la Zarza, the highest mountain of Fuerteventura with its 807 meters, located in the south of the island and within the natural park of Jandia.

It is known by the majoreros (how are called the local people) as Oreja Burro because, together with the Pico de la Palma, from a distance, these two mountains remember the shape of the ears of this animal.

Going up the slope we will find a short steep sections, but once reached the top, the spectacular views will make us forget the fatigue. You will be on the roof of the island, touching the sky with your hands and down at your feet Cofete and Barlovento, miles of wild beaches.

After a rest and some photos, we will begin the return to the starting point, which is made by the same path.
