Yufuin is a landmark and a popular hot spring onsen village located about ten kilometers inland from Beppu. The ryokan and hotels of Yufuin are spread out around onsen village Yufuin has a wealth of art museums, cafes and boutiques to offer as well.
Another natural landmark of Yufuin besides Mount Yufu is Lake Kinrinko, Lake Kinrinko, a mysterious lake where hot spring water springs from the bottom of the lake and does not freeze even in winter.
