About this activity

Encounter rare flora and fauna in the mountains and valleys of the island, as well as unique levadas and stunning subtropical Laurissilva forests in the hardest-to-find locations.
Departure from Funchal and head to Pico dos Barcelos. Then climb up to Eira do Serrado where the Nuns Valley viewpoint is. Continue to Pico do Arieiro, the island's third highest peak and then come down passing through the village of Camacha where the famous wicker baskets are made. From there, return to Funchal where the tour ends.
The half day safari of the Natural Park offers and adventurous tour of the stunning center and interior of the island.
